Estate Planning Done Properly

Estate Planning Done Properly

Helping individuals and families put clear plans in place for the future, with straightforward advice and a genuinely personal approach.

At Wyke Wills & Trusts, we believe estate planning should feel clear, understandable and tailored to your circumstances. Not a tick-box exercise. Not a template. A proper conversation about what matters to you and what you want to protect.

Why We Created Wyke Wills & Trusts

Our sister company, Wyke Financial has been helping clients protect their homes, incomes and families since 2017. Over the years, one conversation kept coming up. The one most people were putting off.

What happens to everything you've worked for if something happens to you?

Time and again, we were sitting with clients who had their mortgage sorted, their protection in place, their financial affairs in good order, and yet the question of what would happen to their estate had never properly been addressed. Not because they didn't care. Just because nobody had made it feel like an easy conversation to start.

That's why we created Wyke Wills & Trusts. Not as an add-on to what we already do, but as a dedicated service built specifically around that conversation. One that brings the same values we've built our reputation on over the years: being straightforward, being thorough and making absolutely sure nothing important gets missed.

Our Approach

We know that for many people, estate planning is something they've been meaning to sort for a while without quite knowing where to begin. It can feel complicated, uncomfortable or simply not urgent enough to prioritise.

Our job is to change that.

We start by listening. We take the time to understand your circumstances, your family situation and what you actually want to achieve before we recommend anything. Then we explain your options clearly, in plain English, so you can make decisions you feel genuinely confident in.

No pressure. No legal jargon. No sense that you're being guided towards something you don't fully understand. Just honest, practical advice from people who take this seriously.

Our Approach
Daniel Wyke

Managing Director

Meet Daniel Wyke

Daniel has vast experience working in both the Property and Financial Services industries since 2005. Having managed several Estate Agency branches, he made the move into Financial Services in 2013 and enjoyed great success before launching Wyke Financial in 2017.

What began as a mortgage and protection brokerage has since grown into the Wyke Group, bringing together three specialist businesses under one roof. Wyke Financial continues to help individuals and families with mortgages and personal protection, Wyke Business Protection advises business owners on protecting themselves, their staff and their companies through tax-efficient life insurance, shareholder protection, key person insurance and wider employee benefits, and Wyke Wills & Trusts helps clients protect their estates and provide for the people they love.

Daniel is now primarily focused on the growth and leadership of the Group as a whole, supported by an experienced team of advisers across all three businesses.

In his personal life, Daniel is married to Rebecca and has two young children. When not working or with the family, he enjoys Tae Kwon Do and football.

Rebecca James

Estate Planning Specialist

Meet Rebecca James

Rebecca has spent her entire career helping people make important decisions with confidence, and it shows in the way she works.

With over 17 years of experience across financial services, including senior roles as Bank Manager and Regional Mortgage Manager within a major high street bank, Rebecca brings a rare combination of professional expertise and genuine warmth to every conversation. She understands that the subjects she deals with, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, matter enormously to the people sitting across the table from her. She never loses sight of that.

Today, Rebecca specialises entirely in estate planning. Her focus is straightforward: helping clients understand their options, put the right plans in place and walk away with the peace of mind that everything is properly organised for the people they love.

Clients consistently describe her as approachable, thorough and refreshingly easy to talk to about subjects that can otherwise feel difficult to raise.

Part Of Wyke Group

Wyke Wills & Trusts is part of the wider Wyke Group, alongside Wyke Financial and Wyke Business Protection.

Each business specialises in its own area, but they're built on the same foundation: clear advice, personal service and long-term relationships with clients who trust us to get things right.

The joined-up nature of the group means that when your mortgage adviser, your protection adviser and your estate planning specialist are all working from the same values and, where relevant, the same understanding of your circumstances, nothing falls through the gaps. Your finances, your protection and your estate planning can work together as a coherent whole rather than three separate things arranged independently.

For clients who want that kind of continuity, it makes a real difference.

Protecting What Matters Most

Estate planning isn't about expecting the worst. It's about making sure that if the unexpected does happen, the people you care about aren't left facing uncertainty, stress or difficult decisions without clear guidance already in place.Whether you're writing your first will, reviewing arrangements that have been in place for a while or exploring what a more comprehensive plan might look like for your family, we're here to help you get everything properly sorted.
