One Group. Three Specialist Services

The Wyke Group brings together three dedicated businesses, each focused on a different aspect of your financial life. Different specialisms, the same values.

Built Around What Clients Actually Need

Wyke Group was founded on a simple observation. The things that matter most to people financially don't sit in separate boxes.

Your mortgage is connected to your protection. Your protection is connected to your estate. Your business interests are connected to all three. And yet most people end up dealing with each of these things separately, at different times, with different providers, without any of them ever being considered as part of a coherent whole.

That's the gap the Wyke Group was built to fill.

Founded by Managing Director Daniel Wyke, who has worked in the property and financial services industry since 2004, the group has grown steadily since 2017 into a trusted name across Northamptonshire and beyond. Each business within the group operates as a specialist service in its own right. But they share the same foundation: clear advice, personal relationships and a genuine commitment to making sure nothing important gets missed.

Wyke Financial is the mortgage and protection arm of the group, and where the Wyke story began.

Established in 2017, Wyke Financial set out to offer something straightforward: expert mortgage and insurance advice delivered with transparency, good communication and a genuine focus on the client's needs rather than the most convenient outcome. That approach has driven consistent growth, and the business has evolved from a single-adviser operation into a multi-adviser firm with a substantial client base and a strong reputation built almost entirely on personal recommendations.

The team advises on residential and buy-to-let mortgages, remortgages, first-time buyer purchases, product transfers and the full range of personal protection products including life cover, critical illness cover and income protection.

Wyke Business Protection exists to answer a question that many business owners haven't properly considered.

If something happened to you, a business partner or a key member of your team tomorrow, what would happen to the business you've worked so hard to build?

Led by Gareth Smith, Director of Business Protection, Wyke Business Protection works with SME owners and their professional advisers to put the right protection in place before it's needed. The service covers shareholder protection, key person insurance, relevant life cover, critical illness, income protection, death in service, private medical cover and business loan protection.

The work is practical and specific. It starts with understanding how a business is structured, what the real risks are and what the consequences of getting it wrong would look like. Then it puts arrangements in place that genuinely reflect those circumstances, clearly and without unnecessary complexity.

For many business owners, it's a conversation they wish they'd had sooner.

Wyke Wills and Trusts
Wyke Wills & Trusts

Wyke Wills & Trusts was created because the same question kept coming up across the group.

Clients with mortgages in place, protection sorted and their financial affairs well managed, who had never properly addressed what would happen to everything they'd built if something happened to them.

Led by Rebecca James, Wyke Wills & Trusts provides dedicated estate planning advice covering wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and broader estate planning conversations for individuals and families across the region. The service is built around making what can feel like a difficult subject feel approachable, clear and manageable.

Because sorting a will, putting an LPA in place or understanding whether a trust is right for your family shouldn't feel like an ordeal. It should feel like exactly the kind of conversation you're glad you finally had.

Why The Group Approach Matters

Each Wyke Group business operates independently and with its own specialist focus. But there are real advantages to the way they work alongside each other.

A client of Wyke Financial who is buying their first home can be introduced to Wyke Wills & Trusts at exactly the moment they need to think about what a property purchase means for their estate. A business owner working with Wyke Business Protection can explore how their personal estate planning connects to their professional arrangements. Clients across the group benefit from advisers who understand the bigger picture, even when they're focused on one specific part of it.

It means that for clients who want a joined-up approach, the right conversation is always close at hand.
